Thermistors are semiconductor resistors, made of semiconductor materials, which are highly sensitive to temperature. Within a certain temperature range, the resistance will change with the change of temperature, showing different resistance values at different temperatures.
The thermistor performs temperature measurement and control in the printer, senses and responds to environmental temperature changes, and controls the working temperature of the print head to avoid damage to the printer due to excessive temperature.
The thermistor is generally on the heat roller of the printer. When the temperature rises, the resistance value increases, and the voltage across the thermistor also increases; when the temperature drops, the resistance value decreases, and the voltage across the thermistor also decreases.
